Taken 7 years after my parents second divorce, these photos depict a life that was abandoned, the remnants of a family that has long ceased to exist as it once was. The juxtaposition of presence and absence evokes an eeriness as the echoes of those who once inhabited the space linger amidst the stillness. Many of the items sit exactly as they were 7 years ago, serving as a reminder of the moments suspended in time.
